This poll is evidence of why we don't distribute Constitutional rights by show of hands in this country. Don't tell Dapper Dan Foster, though - he seems to be having a moment with his fantasy.
Majorities Support Arizona-Style Laws [Daniel Foster]
A new Rasmussen survey finds that 60 percent of likely voters across the country favor immigration
lawslike the one Arizona just passed, which give local and state authorities power to pursue individuals on reasonable suspicion that they are in the country illegally. Just 31 percent of respondents are opposed to such laws.
Worse yet for Democrats who want to hang their
hatson a legislative effort that includes amnesty, 62 percent of independents surveyed support the Arizona bill, and Democrats are evenly divided.
