US Attorneygate.

Putz finally gets around to noticing the developing shitstorm around those 8 US attorneys getting fired. He links to the always reliable Don Surber who notes,

After 8 years of Clinton doing nothing to stop corporate corruption — for fear the contributions from the Gekko crowd would dry up — Bush went after the crooks.

Congressional corruption also has been prosecuted. Jack Abramoff got just under 6 years. Duke Cunningham got 8 years plus. Bob Ney got 3 years.

This is praiseworthy.

This is all being undone by the ham-fisted firing of 8 prosecutors by U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. His firing of them allows the left to lie and roll out the stereotype of Republicans — one that fits better their hero Clinton.

Genius! Abramoff, Ney, and Cunningham are all prominent Republican criminals in jail, but it's the lying left that's hurting the GOP's rep.

Surber and his three ferrets are always good for a laugh.
