Great moments in punditry.

Putz, 4/28/06:
I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A JAMES WEBB FAN, but this combat boots campaign gimmick seems reminiscent of "John Kerry, reporting for duty." Yeah, you can get away with more in the way of gimmickry in a state race, but I expect that this one won't last.

One of Instarube's many problems is that he pretends to understand the military--and soldiers and veterans--but he has no clue what he is talking about. Webb is a true American hero, regardless of his political affiliation, and that resonates with many people. Same could be said for McCain, even though I am not his biggest fan.

I suggest a new designation, PINO, for Patriots in Name Only, to describe the likes of Instarube and his followers.

Putz's military knowledge is non-existent. But he will never admit it - he is an Instaexpert in any subject that comes along. Law school teaches future lawyers that they can master all topics. I never beleived that B.S. but Putz does. Surprisingly he rarely opines on the subjects he teaches.

I'm certain he's read all the alternate military history novels needed to become an expert on the mind of the modern military man.
