Blue Texan is now Blue New Yorker.

Blog went quiet again -- apologies -- because we moved. Or actually, I moved, and the family is coming up in a bit. So, as you might expect, it's been pretty crazy. Trying to figure out how to incorporate blogging into my new routine, and whether or not I'll continue writing under a pseudonym, since it no longer applies. Stay tuned.

Also, I have to say, the news cycle is just impossible to follow these days with the Benghazi! and IRS! craziness. And I think Tomasky is exactly right -- there's a good chance the GOP will fire up the impeachment machine again. Hell, I thought they'd do it over the debt ceiling.

If you choose to continue under a pseudonym, I suggest "Blue Yorker." It's short and catchy.

Yes, I also vote for Blue Yorker. Two's a majority. WIN.

Are you in the city? Outer boro? Up the river? (Despite my moniker, I'm not up the Hudson.)

Welcome. Big fan.

Congratulations on a successful move. And yeah, "Blue Yorker" works.

"Blue Yorker"?! Blecch. (Actually, I just felt the need for someone to take a contrarian stand. It's not that bad.)
As for the impeachment chances, I'd put them pretty high - desperate times call for desperate measures from desperate fools. They've been doubling down for so long now that I don't think that anything is beyond them any more. I wouldn't be surprised to find that the hardest-core are planning a coup.

Welcome to the northeast, where we worship Satan.

You in the city?

Glad you're back. Re impeachment: If (/when) they try, if the Dems don't use it as an opportunity to finally denounce and mock these assholes for the obstructionist, hypocritical dickheads they are, I for one will be very perturbed! Strong language and I mean it.

I agree with the Louis Vuitton Handbag guy, BNY--that was a very well written post.

Hope life is good for you in the new digs. Don't go stealing Andrew Sullivan's interns.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I
find this topic to be actually something which I think I would never understand.

It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I am looking
forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of
it!

I dunno, "Blue Yorker" sounds like an innocuous but dirty-sounding British dish.
