Skewed.
So funny.
"If it was so obvious that the American public wants to try a radical
social experiment that results in children in those households,
definitely, definitely, not having a mother and a father … If the
opinion of the American public was so overwhelming, the gay rights
movement and their allies like Nicole wouldn’t be asking the Supreme
Court to say to the American people, ‘You have no say on this issue.’”
When presented with polling data that shows an upward trend in
Americans supporting same-sex marriage, Bauer responded, “I’m not
worried about that because the polls are skewed.”

Ah, the ever-shifting argument. When shoved in an inescapable corner, with your back to the wall, trapdoor!
Puff of smoke!
GONE.
Those skewed polls must be similar to the ones that had Romney believing he'd be president.
I know I am a broken record on this, but these people are mentally ill. If this were pre-Reagan, we would have lots of room for them in institutions. Sadly, since 1981 or so, they have been wandering the streets and into the "leadership" of the GOP.
The real question at this point is why their insanity and extremism aren't pointed out at every possible opportunity. They are still treated as being part of the mainstream, as reasonable, etc. It's simplistic to say the media is just as extremist as they are, but, really, they are all just a little too fucking dumb. Save Maddow, Stewart, and Colbert, they don't have the critical thinking skills to state the obvious--these people are crazy and extremist, and need to be laughed at and pissed on all day, every day until they disappear or die off.
What Charles said!!!!!
