They think "out of context" means "If I strapped you to a chair and made you listen to me for six hours, this would all start to make sense."
I used to say that as a joke. But no - they really think that.

For Republicans "out of context" is just an alternative to saying "who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes (or ears)."
