I'm sure there are quite a few Vietnam veterans who said the same thing.

Sad.

And this is equally so.
Iraq is freer, and vastly more prosperous, than it was under Saddam and has a decent shot at becoming a successful and democratic nation, which is better than many countries in the region.
That's nice that Putz thinks that -- but what do Iraqis think?

Excluding the couple hundred thousand or so that were killed in the war, that is.

Vastly more prosperous?!?!?! By what measure?

As for all that great freedom, let's ask any of the million or so Iraqi Christians who have had to flee the country since we liberated the Shia from the secular hand of Saddam.

Who cares what they think? They're just natives, after all. They have no conception of the larger realities and bigger principles involved. Really, they're such children, and need the firm, fatherly guidance of a wiser head such as mine. Unfortunately, the damn libtards screwed that whole thing up, so if anything bad happens there, it's their fault.

Plus, what's with all those vets committing suicide? I blame Obama--it's happening on his watch. At least Putz has the decency to quote a guy who *hasn't* killed himself.
