The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun and that is what happened here. Since the shooter was a Marine, he was ipso facto a good guy, and by shooting himself, the good guy with the gun stopped the bad guy with the gun.
So nothing to see, everything is fine, Bengahzi.
The obvious soluiton is for everyone to be wearing shoulder mounted rifles with auto trackers that fire off any time there is a sudden movement.
Obviously something to be thankful about if you are against guns.
