A Romney adviser partly blames last night’s defeat on a weak message. “Turnout was the big problem, since we didn’t get all of McCain’s voters to the polls, but we really should have been talking more about Benghazi and Obamacare,” an adviser says, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “Those are major issues and Romney rarely mentioned them in the final days.”Also, if only they had pressed harder on Obama's college records.

Romney campaign says it lost because of messaging.
Hoo-boy.

They just don't get it. Nobody likes them.
Oh, there's no question they lost because of messaging. Their message was "You should vote for Mitt Romney."
It's really the only reason they lost.
I wonder what Mittens and Ann(s) are doing right now.
I wonder what Mittens and Ann(s) are doing right now.
Starting their foray into alcoholism with Tommy Thompson.
Sorry, just coming down from my bender now.
The great news is not just Obama, and Warren here in Mass, and the fucking perverts in Indiana and Missouri losing the Senate races. And it's not just gay marriage wins and the Dem sweep in California.
It really is that this was the last chance for the haters on the right to win. The demographics have inexorably shifted against them. They are done.
Now we have to brace for their terrorism. This sounds crazy, but it isn't. They have been pushed over the edge, and they will fight back. I hope the FBI is really on top of this. It is going to be ugly.
Oh, note also the near complete sweet here in New England. This corner of the country--including NY, NJ, Del, and likely PA--now mirror the West Coast. They are completely blue and never going back.
Sweep not sweet, damnit.
Must put down the vodka now.
Charles, "sweet" works for me.
I'm pretty sure they did get all of McCain's voters. I don't think they're taking into account the % of McCain voters who have died in the past 4 years.
