Glenn Reynolds: our universities and the hollywood studios are pro-Castro.

This is another one of those moments where you read Putz and think, "Huh?"
AND THAT'S WHAT'S UNFORGIVABLE: "He has said things about Cuba that you will never hear from the major university faculties, or the major newspapers, or the major movie studios."
I've got a degrees from two universities and worked in Hollywood -- and I tell you without reservation that I experienced zero enthusiasm for Castro in either setting.

Just off the top of my head...

Godfather II depicts Castro revolutionaries as suicide bombers.
Andy Garcia just made an anti-Castro movie called The Lost City.
Before Night Falls is another anti-Castro film and won a bunch of awards.
In Red Dawn, the Cubans are part of a communist invasion of the United States.
And didn't Sean Connery make a movie called Cuba, where he was training Bautista's army?

Where does Putz get this stuff? He's brought this up before.

Anyone see any pro-Castro movies lately? Did you take classes from pro-Castro, pro-Che professors?

WTF?
