Rove is gone.

The genius who engineered two landslide one-state victories* is leaving the White House. Too bad.

I really was looking forward to Rove trying to convince the GOP to run on Iraq in '08, run on Bush's fantastic record, run on the War on Terra, run on bashing on the brown people.

He's still clueless:

Mr. Rove also said he expects the president's approval rating to rise again, and that conditions in Iraq will improve as the U.S. military surge continues.

Mr. Rove has been drinking too much of his own Kool-Aid, and has been since 2004.
