Hey, wait -- an "al-Qaeda leader" who's also a "former major in Saddam Hussein's army"? But I thought there was no connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda.

There really is an alternate universe for people like Putz. A universe where Saddam and al Qaeda had significant operational ties, where Iraq had secret stockpiles of WMD and nuclear materials that disappeared right before the war, where the midterms weren't about Iraq, Nancy Pelosi is hated and George Bush loved, and where the surge is working if only the media would tell the truth.
