Oh, for crying out loud.

Someone make him stop. Please.
ANOTHER WORRISOME QUESTION ON THE WAR: "What if we are winning?"

Bush answered the query - via WP - "President Bush acknowledged for the first time yesterday that the United States is not winning the war in Iraq and said he plans to expand the overall size of the "stressed" U.S. armed forces to meet the challenges of a long-term global struggle against terrorists." "Asked and answered" as the litigators say.

What if President Bush was wrong when he said "we're not winning"? What if his new strategy is wrong because it's based on the wrong idea? What will Bush's most feverish supporters do if they have to admit that Bush is wrong?

Because increasing the overall size of the "stressed" U.S. forces worked out so well over the summer.

Translation -- "what if we imagine we are winning?"

An invitation to join in mass right wing psychosis.

Also an echo of the right wing blather that we were winning in Viet Nam in 1974 until that evil Dem Congres cut off the funding.
