Civility.

If you follow this blog, you know that Putz is very fond of lecturing progressive bloggers and liberals on their supposed lack of civility, all the while linking regularly to shrill, ridiculous figures like Michelle Malkin and Pamela at Atlas Shrugged. He's also has a habit of elevating obscure individuals who have no connection or leadership within the Democratic party or the progressive movemement and making them stand for entire "the Left."

So it's always amusing, on occasion, to hold one's nose and venture into Free Republic, to see how the Freepers are responding to a news item that reflects badly on the Bush Administration, which, let's face it, is almost every news item these days.

Here's how they're reacting to Republicans John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Colin Powell, and John Warner telling Bush that he can't torture.
John Warner, John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Susan Collins' Approved Murders and Tortures of Americans.

McCain is a doddering, press whoring RINO. He should run with Hillary as her boy v-p. They are cut from the same cloth. Get out of the party loser.

Graham makes me utterly sick as well. I think he and McCain are lovers. When McCain takes a crap-I'm sure Graham is there to wipe (excuse the language-a little pissed off)

McCain is a traitor to his country, once a hero, now a traitor. Benedict Arnold was the same.

McCain has always been a self-serving idiot. He doesn't have the ability to understand how his actions endanger America.

The word RINO is too good for McCain. He is a maniacal megalomaniac who is likely being blackmailed for spilling classified information and ratting out fellow POW's to the Viet Cong during the war.
Lindsey--Sounds like a girl's name.

Get a pair Lindsay. What kind of name is that for a guy? Sounds like somebody in the Clinton administration. Change parties....please...who could tell the difference.? Take McCain and Warner with you.

McCain & Lindsey Graham should be locked up, the terrorist should be executed immediately.

Never liked "Colon"Powell! How he ever got to be a general must've been through affirmative action.

Absolutely. I've always thought Powell was more liberal than conservative anyway. In fact, all along I had thought Powell was the leaker, and I still think he has leaked a lot of things even if not this one.

That awful weasel, Powell, needs to be driven into the outer darkness. And doesn't this whole thing about Plame/Wilson become crystal clear now. Powell and Armitage both working for McCain, no doubt chhumming around with Kerry, while Lindsey Graham like Uraiah Heep oozes around the Capitol pretending he is THE military legal expert. What a bunch of scum!

I used to think that Colin Powell was a decent person, but he has shown in the past few weeks he's no better than kkklintons; kkkenedy; kkkerry; and the stupid idiot rino mclame....

I've read other stuff recently that makes me think his [Powell's] promotions were all about affirmative action.

Powell is lower than pond scum, on the evolutionary chart; nothing he's done, would surprise me.
Keep in mind: all of these hate-filled personal and racist attacks are directed at Republicans because they told the Dear Leader he was bound to uphold the Constitution. All of this bile and hate directed at a former General, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Secretary of State, a former JAG lawyer (Graham), Marine combat veteran (Warner) and Vietnam POW (McCain).

The next time you see Putz wag his finger at the "shrill Left", remember this.

UPDATE:

As if on cue, Mrs. Putz just called President Clinton a "sociopath" on her blog, and referred to the bloggers meeting Clinton had earlier in the week as a "Groper's Support Group."

You just can't make this stuff up.
