Katrina - feel the snark!

Putz posted this a few days ago, but it still pisses me off.

Heh! That's just sooooo funny, isn't it?

Is the biggest natural disaster in US history, which claimed nearly 2,000 American lives and drowned an entire city, and still to this day is causing immense personal suffering, really an appropriate foil for cheesy visual gags/posts like this?
