Putz hearts Gateway Pundit.

Linking again today to the right wing propagandist, Gateway Pundit, Putz writes today:
A "HATEFUL ANTI-WAR SPEECH" by Rep. Lacy Clay (D-MO) at a University of Missouri graduation provokes a near-riot, according to Gateway Pundit, who has a report and audio. Seems to illustrate the point made in this WSJ editorial about the Democrats' penchant for self-marginalization and self-destruction.
Really, this is easily the stupidest post we've ever seen from Putz.

The fact that the entire post is based on a post by Gateway Pundit is pretty suspect right off the bat, and in fact, when you click on the link Putz provides, no excerpt of the Clay speech is provided! Just brilliant! It's just a made up, fabricated hit piece.

Remember, as we documented here, Gateway Pundit is the blogger who recently called Ray McGovern a "nutjob", and who referred to a speech by John Murtha as "cut and run."

So unlike Putz, who can't Google, I found Clay's speech on the Internets. The text is here. Can't find anything "hateful" in it. Here's one excerpt:

REGARDLESS OF HOW YOU MIGHT FEEL ABOUT OUR POLICY IN IRAQ, I CAN ASSURE YOU OF THIS:

OUR TROOPS ARE MAGNIFICENT.

I SALUTE THEIR COURAGE.

I COMMEND THEIR BRAVERY.

AND I HONOR THEIR SACRIFICE.

IT IS A SHAME THAT THEIR COMMANDER IN CHIEF CONTINUES TO DENY THE REALITY ON THE GROUND;

AND IN DOING SO, FORCES OUR BRAVE SONS AND DAUGHTERS TO PAY A TERRIBLE PRICE FOR HIS FAILED LEADERSHIP.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
I SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE DONE ALL THAT WE CAN DO IN IRAQ, AND IT IS TIME TO BRING OUR TROOPS HOME.

Now, regardless of how you feel about Clay's speech, don'tcha think, if you're going to deem it "hateful", and bother to post about it, that you'd at least, I dunno, provide a single word of the speech?

Making a terrible post even worse, Putz then links to the reliably partisan Wall Street Journal to prove a point about how bad Democrats are.

It's going to be hard for him to top this one.

Amazing. There was literally nothing hateful in that entire speech. What a lazy sack of crap Insty is.

Thank you for doing this, btw. I'll be linking over here in the future when I don't have the energy to read him myself :-)
