Paul Ryan: About those makers and takers...

I take it back.
“Both parties tend to divide Americans into ‘our voters’ and ‘their voters,’” the Wisconsin congressman told hundreds of well-to-do conservatives at an awards dinner in a Washington ballroom. “Republicans must steer far clear of that trap. We must speak to the aspirations and anxieties of every American. I believe we can turn on the engines of upward mobility so that no one is left out from the promise of America.”
But back in 2010...
"Right now about 60 percent of the American people get more benefits in dollar value from the federal government than they pay back in taxes," Ryan said. "So we're going to a majority of takers versus makers in America and that will be tough to come back from that. They'll be dependent on the government for their livelihoods [rather] than themselves."

Maybe he should have specified who the takers are: the rich and the corporations.

Someone should tell the retard that the Red States are all "takers." Their secession can't happen fast enough for me.

Now, on the other hand, if Ashley Judd ends up as Kentucky's Senator, I will be singing a different tune entirely.
