No, it isn't "uncertainty" that's dragging the economy down.

I've always found the "uncertainty" meme extra annoying, especially since we never heard it during the Bush/Cheney years, which included, off the top of my head: a devastating terrorist attack, several wars, a US city drowning and a couple of brutal recessions.

But things were very certain!

Krugman has been making the point that this is nonsnse for months, but Bloomberg will be harder to dismiss.
You can blame Obama for many things, but uncertainty isn’t one of them.
But they will!
