Charles Johnson is the Arlen Specter of the blogosphere. I don't mean this derisively. Once blind, Specter may well be the bastard son of Wade Boggs and Ted Williams, happily supporting a "robust public option."
As for Johnson, well, these guys have been monitoring the ex-jazzman for well-nigh six years. That is a long time!
So, even though Johnson's split with the wingnuts has been well-chronicled, it's still a tad disorienting to see him adopting one of the reality-based community's most cherished googlebombs.
Odd, yes. Weird, yes! But at the same time, kinda delightful!
