1. The denial of gayness. (Even if somehow he's not gay, it's disrespectful to gay people to feel that you need to deny it.)
If asked, as I was last night -- at a gallery opening -- I tend to confess I'm not gay. The gentleman appeared disappointed, but not affronted.
