One More Thought About TNR (Very Important Update)

Regarding this, I agree with TNR commenter jfelliot:

Intellectual honesty and a willingness to admit mistakes -- in the face of actual evidence and not speculation -- is all one can ask of any human enterprise. TNR's editors have publicly declared their fidelity to that principle. Until substantive evidence is raised, all else is mere speculation. And calling for recantation and apologies based on speculation, no matter how vehement, is simply unreasonable.
Indeed.

...Can anyone send us the Atlantic's Gerson piece? It's not on the newsstand yet -- at least not at Grand Central -- and it's driving me nuts not to read it. I'd be eternally grateful and am willing to whore myself out for weddings and bar mitvahs.
