Rock bottom.

The publication William F. Buckley founded is now linking approvingly to op-eds by Chuck Norris.

In World Nut Daily.

Fitting. Someone needs to tell the author of the Chuck hand job that Chuck Norris jokes are as old as Chuck Norris.

William F. Buckley, the man who gave racism an intellectual wallpapering, would be spinning in his grave, making an approving humming noise.

I say, bring it the fuck on. They are only hastening their demise.

I've gotten over the "rock bottom" thing with Republicans. Time and time and again and again I would think we were there: this is it! the barrel's absolute motherfucking bottom!

And then they'd not not only beat the low, they'd eclipse it.

Chuck Norris today. Ted Nugent tomorrow. (Or maybe that's already happened and I missed it?)

Republicans are remarkable, but not in a good way.

Well, National Review started out with many a segregationist column, and has always been fighting a rearguard action against progress, so it was never truly admirable. But point taken.
