WSJ already framing Romney's defeat.

Just like Bush 41, Dole and McCain -- he'll lose because he's not conservative enough.

Loved this bit:
The Romney campaign thinks it can play it safe and coast to the White House by saying the economy stinks and it's Mr. Obama's fault. We're on its email list and the main daily message from the campaign is that "Obama isn't working." Thanks, guys, but Americans already know that. What they want to hear from the challenger is some understanding of why the President's policies aren't working and how Mr. Romney's policies will do better.
Well, the problem with playing up "Romney's policies" is that people don't think tax cuts and deregulation are the answer -- and they didn't in 2008, either. They've been hearing that song too long.

Fact is, Willard is a mediocre politician armed with nothing but a bunch of super-unpopular, widely discredited policies. So his best strategy is to complain/lie about Obama. And he lies well.
