There was absolutely no sense of urgency about doing something now for the millions of people who were out of work, and there was no sense of outrage that the reason is the GOP's obstructionism.
Obviously the GOP is taking this remark out of context, but he would've never made it if he had been on his A-game today.

Not sure what the point of the press conference was. If this is the new "Give 'Em Hell, Harry"/1948 approach, there wasn't a hell of a lot of hell.
“I think if you look at what I said this morning, what I’ve been saying consistently over the last year, we’ve actually seen some good momentum in the private sector,” he said. “There’s been 4.3 million jobs created, 800,000 this year alone, record corporate profits.”
