I Really Hate these People.

It really does surprise me sometimes how easily conservatives -- typified, in this case, by Kathryn Jean Lopez -- talk of defunding an organization that offers screening for breast, cervical and testicular cancers; pregnancy testing and pregnancy options counseling; and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases:

I actually believe we’re at this beautiful moment where people are in such a mood for common sense in governing that things like a universal Hyde Amendment and de-funding Planned Parenthood are absolutely coalition wins.

I am sometimes asked to justify my belief that conservatives are, with few exceptions, bad people. Well, here you go.
