I don't think "randomly" means what The Quitter thinks it means.

Later today, President Obama will speak to the American people about Iraq. No doubt he will laud the “end of major combat operations” by the date he randomly selected some 18 months ago.

I have a hard time picturing Obama with the Joint Chiefs, standing in front of a calendar with a few darts, saying "Here we go boys, this is when we're outta Iraq!"
