The Narrative.

IT AIN’T OVER ‘TIL IT’S OVER, and the ObamaCare bill is clearly wildly unpopular. But if it does pass, the media message will be that the whole Tea Party movement has been a waste — when, in fact[...].

Putz, March 20, 2003 (the day the U.S. invaded Iraq):

If you want to see — graphically — why the antiwar movement failed, Evan Coyne Maloney has a brand-new documentary video on anti-war protests from last weekend in San Francisco. The antiwar movement failed because it was morally and intellectually unserious, and could never articulate an alternative position that might plausibly have led to a safer America and a safer world.

So, yeah.

If the reform passes, the tea party movement will have failed. It will have been a waste. It's sole accomplishment? Helping elect a moderate Republican who voted for the Obama jobs bill.

And by the bye? Obama's Gallup approval is back up to where it was six months ago.
