Indeed! I mean, there's certainly nothing malicious or unthinking about the suggestion that gays are intent on repealing the First Amendment.
I have no faith at all that the orthodox churches, synagogues and religious institutions will be left alone once gay rights advocates have the fullest constitutional protection. Tolerance will quickly be insufficient; affirmation will be the minimal standard -- or else.
