Expect this horribly written piece by Wendy Button to get lots of play today. (The Corner's already highlighting it.) It's largely jibberish, but she does have a cute bit of advice for "Congress and the president."
If Congress and the president want to fix health care, then it is time to start over. They need to look at what's worked and what has failed in Massachusetts. They are going to have to actually take former Gov. Sarah Palin's advice and "look north to the future." Who knew that would ever make sense?
Nobody, and for good reason! Palin wasn't discussing health care reform; she was talking about energy independence.
If Button's hack work seems familiar, there's good reason. She wrote the much-mocked piece in The Daily Beast in which she claimed that, despite her lifelong status as a Dem, she would be voting for McCain/Palin:
And when someone can sit on a stage during the Sarah Palin rap on Saturday Night Live, put her hands in the air and watch someone in a moose costume get shot—that’s a sign of both humor and humanity.
Jesus. I'm so looking forward to more sophisticated analysis of health care reform from this lady.
