Bravo to Megan Garber, who notes that among Douthat's other deficiencies, his use of the words "messianic hoo-ha" betrays a lack of familiarity with anatomical slang.
Douthat is famously wise-beyond-his-years; but he is, apparently, unaware of the modern meaning of that word.
Oops.
At this point, I find Douthat's ignorance of the female body less than charming -- given that, like most social conservatives, he believes he has some dominion in that area.
