Conservatives furious that private industry is acting in its best interest.

I find the wingnut response to Limbaugh's laughable attempt to buy an NFL franchize, well, laughable.

No one has an inherent right to own an NFL franchise. It's a private club and a multi-billion dollar business. A mutli-billion dollar business that's driven largely by PR. And businesses that are heavily invested in their image don't typically like having loudmouthed unpopular assholes who say lots of offensive things on a regular basis associated with them.

But the Anchor Baby's take? Rush is a victim!
The apocalyptic hysteria over Rush Limbaugh’s interest in buying an NFL team is yet another stark reminder of the limits (and double standards) of left-wing tolerance.
Now I'm willing to bet a lot of money that the vast majority of NFL owners are not "left-wing." They alone will decide if having the drug addicted college dropout sex tourist as one of them is in their best business interests. If it is, he'll get the Rams. If it's not, he won't.

It's that simple.
