So, each time I read Paine, particularly Common Sense or Crisis, for the next couple of hours I really want to go out and kill a slew of Englishmen.
What can I say? Paine was/is a persuasive fellow!
It's not an exact comparison, sure, but because of this I threw some green Obama's way that a) I probably can't afford to give but b) holy shit, I can't afford not to give.
