Box Office.

Despite his ignorance, Roger Simon insists on writing about movies. Today, he farts out a column about how W. and An American Carol both suck. Maybe so, but Simon treats them as if they have both tanked equally at the box office.

No.

AMC, which has been out since October 3, has brought in a craptacular $6.8 million domestic, while W., out for a mere five days, has brought in $11.3 million domestic. Both are in wide release.

I think the idea put forth by Simon's commenters, that we ought to send our troops copies of AMC -- seriously! -- is a bad one. Iraq is bad enough.
