In matters of war and peace, parenting and employment, we pray such prayers. Or so I hope we do. We pray that we are doing His will. We can't always be sure if we are. We often aren't sure. But if we're praying that we are, and we're listening, we've got a prayer. It was a wise and humble prayer Palin was passing on. And, yes, plausibly Lincolnian.
Maybe it's the heat, or maybe it's the three beers I just drained, but I'm without a retort.
