Patting themselves on the back.

It's pretty amazing to watch Bush followers congratulate themselves on the their most recent Mission Accomplished in Iraq.

This is the same crowd that was insisting that we were winning in '03, and '04, and supported re-election of the man responsible for what McSame now calls "a failed policy." And, as a result of the re-election his followers enthusiastically gave him, Bush's failed policies were extended through '05 and '06. And now, even as they gloat about the reduced violence in Iraq, the goals of the surge that Bush himself outlined remain unmet.

And still, they have the gall to run around saying nanny-boo-boo and crowing about "winning" -- as though that word even means anything in the United States' going-on-6-years occupation of Iraq.

Good luck with that "We told you Iraq would be awesome!" messaging in November, guys.
