Gomer closes down his comments after making the dumbest argument in history (until his next one) because a guy who killed for reportedly political reasons is engendering political commentary (from both sides, Gomer magnanimously offers). Ace makes up some literally unbelievable shit that wouldn't make it as Blue Boy fan fiction, the National Review is a blithering atrocity, the Wall St. Journal publishes an argument that posits Batman as a love letter to a failed Presidency and their current candidate is running the worst campaign in the history of modern politics -- all while we're running the biggest deficit in history, (surprise) Iraq is still pretty chaotic, the DoJ has been exposed as being a Fan Club AND the most popular man in the world is a Black Democrat.

I may be a bit of a pollyanna here -- but I don't see how conservatism can ever bounce back from this era of failure, stupidity and misadministration. It's been completely unmasked as lunacy.
