How's this? Instead of rejecting the idea of ten town hall meetings (as seems likely), Obama should double down -- and offer a counterproposal of one a week. (By my count, that would be at least 20.)
After watching McCain's logy performance last night, I don't imagine he'd do well. But more important, it would allow Obama to take the high road -- assuming McCain rejects the idea.
And, well, if he doesn't reject the idea, than Democrats get the pleasure of watching an old warmonger get his clock cleaned.
