Obviously, the best metric for determining the Democratic nominee is who loves puppies pelicans the most. So far I'm not sure where either candidate stands, but it's crucial that both publicly embrace the majesty of these beautiful creatures, preferably augmented by a photo op.

The pro-pelican wing of the Democratic party has been ignored for far too long, so I say verily to thee, Be careful, Obamillary:

If an anti-pelican candidate does win, the mainstream media will have gotten him or her elected with their biased coverage and they will pay for it more than they could imagine. And it will be the blogosphere and you, our own supporters, who will make them pay. Our strength will grow incrementally with a anti-pelican victory in terms of influence and even economic power. And both will be at the expense of the mainstream media. Yes, we too have 'plans.'"
