Still Carrying the Torch for Bush, Eh Pantload?

One thing I would like to know is what it says about Matthew Dowd (a perfectly likable fellow) that he eagerly signed up to work for Bush but now thinks the man's a moron.

Let me take a stab at it: It says that Dowd, unlike the contributors to JonestownOnline The Corner, has the capacity to evolve and to learn from his mistakes.

It's not Jonah fault. When one's livelihood depends on blind faith -- whether it be in god, the President or the strength of the American dollar -- it's hard to recognize moments of lucidity in others.
