HMM: "Exit polling for Super Tuesday contests show a growing trend towards division by ethnicity among Democrats."Further thoughts here: "According to Dick Morris, Bill and Hillary Clinton wanted to make the primary contest a question of race and it worked."
Reality:
White Democratic men did not appear unified on how they voted Tuesday. In Connecticut, they favored Obama over Clinton by 54 to 40 percent. Those numbers were nearly reversed in Tennessee, where Clinton was ahead of Obama among white men by 59 percent to 29 percent.Overall, white men were favoring Obama 49 percent, to 44 percent for Clinton.
Make an argument for a gender split -- fine. But the attempt to turn Obama into 'the black candidate' is a non-starter.
