BAGHDAD — Two female suicide bombers killed 65 people and wounded 149 at Baghdad pet markets on Friday, the twin blasts inflicting the bloodiest day on the Iraqi capital for six months.
Baghdad Bob Owens:
Today's attacks also tell us that al Qaeda in Iraq is getting very desperate...
...Actually, if click through, you'll see it's worse than that. The "desperation" Bob refers to is al Qaeda's use of "mentally disabled" women, as opposed to men of able body and mind. This, says Bob, is a positive development! (Frankly, I think it says a lot about the perilous state of Iraq that the wingnuts are forced spin suicide bombings as a net gain.)
For his part, Putz observes, "Good suicide-bombers are hard to find, and retention is even tougher."
I assume that's a joke.
