We're Not Patriots. We're Capitalists.

John Hood doesn't like patriots:
"[McCain] thinks government service is far more noble, more socially beneficial, than serving one's fellow man through creating economic value in the marketplace. He's wrong, importantly wrong [...] making rigid distinctions between [leadership and management] is so 1980s."
Wasn't Ronald Reagan the greatest leader (not manager) of the 1980s? Wasn't he a patriot, emphasizing leadership?

Who is John Hood, anyway? Let's run a Google search and see who this guy is. Hmm, what's the second hit?
"With John McCain's demise as a presidential candidate becoming more widely recognized, it's worth considering how his exit might affect the Republican nomination race. I think the big winner is Fred Thompson"
Indeed.
