Kudos to the reporters from the Post and 1010 WINS. It's cold as balls out there.
...It goes without saying: Check back with H. for more news.
...Newsday:
Detective Madelyne Galindo said police went to the apartment on Remsen Street, near the south end of the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, at 12:45 a.m. after the man showed up at nearby Long Island College Hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand. He said the wound was self-inflicted, she said.
Police have not released the man's identity.
There's still a cop on the corner of Hicks and Grace, but everything seems to be back to normal. That is, totally quiet.
...Oops. Homeland Security is still here.
Why? "Just a precaution," said one cop.
