WASHINGTON (AP) — The National Press Foundation will honor half a dozen journalists at its 25th anniversary dinner in February.[via]Thomas L. Friedman, editorial page columnist at The New York Times, will receive the W.M. Kiplinger Award for Distinguished Contributions to Journalism for his insightful coverage of world and national affairs. Gordon Peterson, anchor and senior correspondent at WJLA-TV and producer host of the nationally syndicated show, "Inside Washington" on PBS, will receive the Sol Taishoff Award for Distinguished Contributions to Broadcast Journalism. Jeff Cohen, editor of the Houston Chronicle, will receive the Benjamin C. Bradlee Editor of the Year Award.
