For the past 7 years, the wingnuts have lectured us on how the Democrats have to stand for something more than being "anti-Bush." Putz himself has insisted that it's impossible to build a party around an anti-Bush sentiment.
After the losses in '02 and '04, we heard almost constnatly how it's not enough to be "anti"-(something), whether it was Bush, the war, etc. How the only way that Democrats would start winning elections was to stand for something. How the Republicans, like them or not, actually present positive ideas, as opposed to simply hating on Democrats.
Uh-huh.
Sullivan is asking for more examples.
