Some wingnut in comments who can't Google is claiming that all the criticism of Warner was due to the fact that he was preempting Petraeus.

Putz himself linked to this New York Post piece blasting Warner's call for withdrawal, which ends,

Sen. Warner cares about our country and our troops. But the security of our country and the progress of our troops would both be compromised fatefully were we to announce that we're pulling out of Iraq.

But now that Bush says we're pulling out of Iraq it'll be fine.
