Polling news.

Just to preempt Putz inevitable "Look how unpopular Congress is!" post -- the new Fox poll has Congressional approval at 32%.

No, that doesn't mean Congress is popular. But that means the Democratic-controlled Congress is still doing better than the Republicans.

The last Fox poll before the midterms: 29%.
The Fox poll in May 2006: 27%.

Year to date, that's a net gain of 5 points.

In other polling news, only 24% of the country agrees with Putz on Iraq.

And I love this: 37% of Americans blame Bush for the war, while only 8% blame the media and only 7% blame the Democrats.

That's some rarefied company Putz is keeping.
