The party of torture.

The way the GOP candidates tried to out-macho each other the other night by almost giddily endorsing torture ("I want Jack Bauer!") was absolutely revolting.

Sullivan argues,
The simple legal definition of torture must be thrown in their faces at every opportunity. These people do not get to define torture in a country under the rule of law. We are not in a Lewis Carroll novel. The law and our treaty obligations define torture.
I wish one of the Democrats would be more outspoken on this issue, but they know the GOP will frame the debate as, "Resolved: The Democrats Won't Do What It Takes To Win The War On Terror."

Harry and Nancy? Ball's in your court.
