Pre-invasion? But I thought Saddam and Al Qaeda had nothing to do with each other. . . .This link is to the ever-credible Gateway Pundit, who last we checked, was busy counting naughty words. What's got Gateway so giddy today is this passage in a Guardian article, which reads (emphasis mine):

Wow! This is HUGE news! He probably, may have done...something with al Qaeda!
Says Gateway (emphasis his):
This is great news for the Free World and horrific news for democrats...
Not only does this show the Iraqis assisting with the security of their young democracy but it brings to the surface the fact that Al Qaeda was operating in Iraq before the US invasion!
Damn right! Take that democrats, who aren't part of the Free World!!!11!!
Two quick questions, though, for Putz and Gateway: (1) Do you know what "may have" and "probably" mean? And (2), since Mohammed Atta was operating in the US in 2001 does that mean al Qaeda had ties to George W. Bush?
