Fred Thompson on "Hannity and Colmes."

Fred Thompson, everyone's favorite GOP sleeper, went on "Hannity & Colmes" tonight (I'll post the transcript/video when it's available) and mouthed all the far-right talking points on Iraq: that the Democrats are defeatist cowards caving to extremist fringe groups like MoveOn, that the American people will wake up and reject their defeatism, that victory in Iraq is just around the corner, etc. etc.

Really, it was a completely uninspired and pathetic performance, the kind of thing the Victory Caucusers will love and the other 75% of electorate will soundly reject.

Here's hoping Fred runs. If he wins the nomination and runs on the war, it won't be close.
